How Your Support Can Help the Waikato River Trails

The Waikato River Trails has created access for walking, biking and tramping along New Zealand's longest river - the mighty Waikato.

Flowing from Mount Ruapehu to the Tasman Sea via Lake Taupo, the Waikato River serves a multitude of communities along the way.

Donations kindly made to the Waikato River Trails Trust help in a number of ways, including acheiving our goals:
  • Ensuring the Trails are maintained to a high standard. This improves the enjoyment of everyone and makes your journey as safe as possible
  • Riparian care and improvement. Many areas of the Waikato River Trails are in an important riparian strip close to the Waikato River. The work of the Trust improves these areas, making them both more enjoyable to visit and at the same time more environmentally sound.

Help us 'realise the dream' by supporting the Waikato River Trails!

You could also consider becoming 'Friends of the Trail'.  As a 'Friend' not only do you help us to help the Trail but also our community and our environment
